After-each-use automatic clean

Thorough cleaning

Follow the detachable-part sequence for your exact ECAM code in De’Longhi’s instruction manual or support video. Separate the milk carafe’s designed removable pieces, wash milk-contact surfaces and rinse thoroughly before drying and reassembly. Do not dismantle hot fittings or put the machine body in water. The manufacturer recommends this deeper clean regularly, ideally within two days after use.

If foam is still weak

Check that the carafe has been thoroughly cleaned and reassembled correctly, then compare with the Magnifica Evo frothing diagnosis. If a connector is cracked or milk leaks at a seal, use a compatible replacement part rather than forcing it. The infuser rinse and descale cycle concern other systems.
